What Is ForesightWorks?

ASAE ForesightWorks is an evidence-based research program designed to help associations identify, understand, and act on the most significant drivers of change affecting their industries and members. Our team at Foresight Alliance led the environmental scanning, trend analysis, and scenario development processes at the heart of ForesightWorks. We adapted the STEEP (Social, Technological, Economic, Environmental, Political) framework into STEPB, adding a specific focus on Business trends to ensure relevance for associations of all types. Our analysts synthesized over 400 trends and forecasts, clustering them into actionable "drivers of change" that now serve as the foundation for strategic conversations across the association sector.
